Give us five minutes. Then get back to work.
Try it right here
10 seconds of Pop Field
Tap the mint bubbles before they vanish. Leave the coral ones alone.
Each round starts when you click and lasts one minute. Short instructions, instant feedback, no endless levels.
Round 1
Bubbles pop up all over and last about a second. Tap the mint ones before they vanish, leave the coral ones alone.
Round 2
Watch the tiles light up, then tap them back in the same order. Every third one is a pattern you can tap in any order.
Round 3
Find one shape hiding in a grid of look-alikes. The grid reshuffles the moment you find it and gets sneakier as you go.
Round 4
Odd or even? Higher or lower than a number? A multiple of one? Every card picks its rule at random, and its shape tells you which.
Round 5
All four games back to back, 15 seconds each, and every one starts partway up its difficulty.
Tell us how alert you feel, from extremely sluggish to very alert. It takes a second.
Click to start each one. Every round lasts a minute, with your score in the corner.
Rate how alert you feel now, then get straight into the thing you were putting off.
Your score describes one run. It isn’t a measure of intelligence, and we don’t claim the game makes you sharper. That’s what we’re testing.
Your account holds your email and how many runs you’ve played. Each run sends anonymous results (scores and ratings, never your name or email) so we can learn whether WakeFul helps; you can switch that off. Usage recordings stay off until you agree.
No ads, leaderboards or endless levels. Five rounds, then back to the thing that matters.
Everything you might want to know before your first run.
WakeFul is a five-minute browser game for when your brain won’t switch on. You play five quick one-minute rounds, then get straight back to work. Your first 3 runs are free.
About five minutes. A run is five rounds of one minute each, and every round starts only when you click, so you can take a breath in between.
Your first 3 runs are free. After that, you buy a pack of runs: 10 runs for $4.99 or 30 runs for $11.99. In India, packs are 5 runs for ₹99, 12 runs for ₹199 or 30 runs for ₹449, payable by UPI or card. Runs never expire, and there’s no subscription.
Yes. Enter your email and type the 6-digit code we send you, with no password. Signing up unlocks your 3 free runs, and your account keeps track of them and any runs you pay for.
We don’t claim that. WakeFul is a short warm-up, and whether it helps people start work is exactly what we’re testing. You rate how alert you feel before and after each run.
Pop Field (tap the mint bubbles, skip the coral ones), Memory Sequence (repeat the tiles), Visual Scan (find the shape among look-alikes), Rule Switch (every card has a random rule) and Final Sprint (all four games back to back, 15 seconds each).
Yes. WakeFul works on phones, tablets and computers, with touch, a mouse or a keyboard.
Your account holds your email and how many runs you’ve played. Your game results are saved in your browser, and each run also sends an anonymous copy to our team: scores, accuracy and your before-and-after alertness ratings, never your name or email, so we can learn whether WakeFul helps and improve it. You can switch this off on the Your data page. Feedback you choose to give after a run is stored the same anonymous way. If you allow usage recordings, Microsoft Clarity records clicks, scrolls and screen replays to help us improve the site; what you type is hidden and recordings aren’t linked to your name or email. You can view, download or delete your game results, and switch sending results or recordings off, from the Your data page.
Sound is off unless you turn it on, so you can play anywhere.
Any time. Press Exit, then Leave for now: the rounds you finished are saved, and Start picks the run up where you left it, on any device, without using another run.
